Drama

Drama lessons run on Saturdays during school term time. Students study a range of techniques including mime, improvisation, characterisation, vocal projection, tone and gesture but to name a few.

Students are grouped in sessions with pupils of a similar age but often work with all members when rehearsing for shows. During rehearsal periods, sessions may be extended and will include Sundays and school holidays. There is no extra cost for longer rehearsal periods.

Victory-Land have performed in several prestigious venues across the county and produced countless shows including Peter Pan, The Wizard of Oz, Romeo and Juliet, Fantastic Mr Fox and Midsummer Night’s Dream (to name but a few). Members have also been involved in a wide range of projects including the Rock Challenge, the Historic Dockyards Festival of Christmas, performances at Saddlers Wells and Her Majesty’s Theatre in London’s West End.
